School Profile
McDonogh # 32 Literacy Charter School was established in 2006 to meet the
challenges and needs of this Algiers Community and enrollment is approximately
510 in total. All teachers hold a BA or BS degree or higher. Teachers are
state-certified or working on state-certification. All of our teachers and
para-educators participate in the nationally recognized Teacher Advancement
Program (TAP) with an average class size of twenty to twenty-five students.
There is a full time nurse, one social workers, school counselor, speech
pathologist, Physical Therapist, and Occupational Therapist.
